January Fables & Cryptids - Storytelling in Aberystwyth

NOTE: due to snow please check your inbox on Wednesday afternoon before travelling in case of cancellation.

Hello folks,

Welcome to 2026! Looking forward to hearing the tales, poems, songs, and delights you've been gathering this Wednesday, if you feel so inspired.

We meet on the first Wednesday of the month (every month) at 7pm!

VENUE: Climate Shop Café

Next Circle: Wednesday 7th January, 7-8:30pm at the Climate Shop Café, Market Street, Aberystwyth.

Bring a short story, song, or poem or just your listening heart. You don't need to tell a tale but you can if you wish, just volunteer on the night.

Free entry, donations welcome to help plant trees!

I also wanted to share with you a fun art & research project I was doing over December, a Cryptidmas Advent Calendar with pictures and information on a different cryptid of legendary being daily from 1st-25th Dec! I posted the full videos for the Curious Cryptid Club on Patreon, including a couple which you can watch for free, or you can sign up for £5 a month for the full set plus future story projects including my show-in-development, The Cryptid Field Reports.

Happy thoughts,

~Halo
