June Fables and Goblins in July!


Hello folks,

Some news... the Goblins will be popping up in July, but first Fables next month.

For Fables in 2025 we have moved to monthly!

Join us on the first Wednesday of the month (every month) now at 7pm!

HOWEVER, next Fables will be on the BEACH!

Wednesday 4th June, 7-8:30pm the weather looks good so we'll be meeting on South Beach by the Hut! AND the marvellous Milly Jackdaw will be hosting this summery evening of tales by the sea.

Bring a short story, song, or poem or just your listening heart.

Free entry, donations welcome.

Wild Tales / Chwedlau Gwyllt

A festival of stories from West Wales, 9th - 13th July 2025

We'll be out on Aberystwyth prom on Saturday 12th July from midday to 2pm. Also in Aberystwyth that day will be Milly sharing a workshop for children 10-12, and frofrom 2pm Peter Stevenson, Ailsa Mair Fox, and friends, will be leading a storywalk with Mesolithic Mermaid tales and music!

Hello folks, We have an April Fool's Day Fables next week!!! No pranks (it's after midday) but I wonder if anyone will bring a trickster tale? In March we ended up with historical theme to the stories - Tales of Saint David, Saint Collen, and Mother Shipton - poetry, and a song or two, and this led our newest attendees to ask if the stories have to be historical.
